    Webcast success

I'm rather curious how successful the Lumenos webcasts have been.  I'm sure it's hard to measure true success (e.g., how much it really improved people's health), but the number of people that participated and their feedback would be an early indication.  Are there any of those results available?

I am also interested.  I participated in one on Stress and found it very useful.  I'd like to understand how to learn more about other webcasts as well.

    Re: Webcast success

Well, as luck has it, I happen to know the person Wink <img src=" src="/emoticons/emotion-5.gif"> who helps to coordinate the DocTalk webcasts.

The good news is they have been very well received. All 5 sessions this year (except the one on smoking) were filled to capacity. We expected the smoking session to have lower attendance, though.  What's more, the surveys presented to attendees immediately following the events have been very positive -- with a 100% of participants saying they would participate in future events if offered.

More good news - they will continue into 2007. Chances are there will be some of the same issues discussed as far as topics go -- but Dr. Mike is such a dynamic speaker, he makes every session interesting and relevent. Plus, we will strive to keep the content fresh.

Quick tip: the next one is December 20th and focuses on preventive care and what you can do now to prevent future health issues. That info, tied to your Lumenos plan preventive care benefit, should be 60 minutes well spent.  I think both sessions are more than 1/4 full already - and the invites haven't been sent out yet. You can register early if you want by visiting the doctalk.lumenos.com site.

    Any ideas for future topics?

    Hi Craig,
I cannot find a link to the doctalk on the lumenos site. Also there is no mention of it. IS this company specific.

    Thanks,
    Adarsh

Here is the link to the doctalk.  I viewed one on stress in October and it was really helpful.  I also like the fact that you can go back and download any one of the webcast you missed.  http://doctalk.webex.com/
